Kipling x Emily In Paris
Say “oui” to Kipling x Emily in Paris
Ooh lala! For the ultimate in Parisian chic, look no further. Kipling has collaborated with the juggernaut Netflix show Emily in Paris to create a seriously stylish and super fun range of attention demanding cross body and mini bag styles.
Drawing on the dialled-up styling and peppy energy of the show’s lead character Emily Cooper and the series’ infinitely Instagrammable visuals, the range is a vision of timeless chic and youthful charm – all in bold lilac, and beautifully accessorised.
The collection majors on scaled down bags in glossy and furry styles, with shiny foil finishes applied to the Riri and Milda cross body styles and the Bina shoulder bag as well as the heart shaped Jozi. The furry finish comes in the same intense floral lilac and is used on alternative versions of the Milda and Jozi and on the small Aminda shoulder bag.
Handles across the range are made using a patterned webbing that matches the lilac, while the chain-handled Jozi also features cute enamel charms of the Eiffel Tower, a bottle of champagne, the Kipling logo, a stylised Très Bien and – of course – our classic monkey charm in candy pink.
The Aminda, Bina, Milda and Riri style all carry a cute and chic tied-on scarf that references Emily in Paris and Kipling along with our monkey charm and a selection of Parisian motifs that instantly evoke Emily’s life à Paris, with images of hearts, bubbles, vintage cameras and morning coffee along with a hint to her chaotic love life with the legend, “Did you say amour?”.
Fans of the show adore its unabashed and full-on vision of the French capital’s stylish cityscape and that is exactly what inspires these bold confections. Each bag is super fun, and the stunning lilac is perfect for either matchy matchy or colour clash styling, making it the ideal accessory to finish any outfit in the chicest possible way.
The Netflix series is set to unleash a fourth season that will delve into Emily and friends’ lives in the City of Lights and beyond. But there’s a little while to wait just yet, so if you need un petit pièce of the en vogue show, grab yourself a piece of this covetable collab and make like Emily in Paris. C’est chic!
