- TheUnseenNYC shows the city from three points of view: the iconic, the most groundbreaking and the virtual.
New York is one of the most famous and iconic cities in the world. We have seen it so many times in so many places that we think we know it. But in reality there is a New York that has yet to be discovered. This winter, Stradivarius invites you to rediscover the city from new points of view in #TheUnseenNYC, an experience that shows, through fashion, the most iconic, groundbreaking and virtual side of the capital through 14 international talents with a community of 40 million followers on their social networks.
The content creators Mery Turiel and Susana Molina, the celebrity Michelle Salas, the actresses Amaia Aberasturi and Julia Wieniawa and the influencer Giulia de Lellis were some of the protagonists who spent three days in New York to discover the most symbolic corners, clandestine spaces and viewpoints with spectacular views. Three days of intense experiences in which the talents were able to experience the city from other perspectives. They even delved into virtual realities at VR World New York, where they used Google’s “Tilt Brush” tool to design textures and colours in the metaverse that will form part of a new digital fashion drop.
#TheUnseenNYC presents Stradivarius’ latest FW22 collection, which focuses on fabrics such as leather effect, seen in miniskirts and puffa skirts, which will be key this season. The striped print is another essential that will help to complete any outfit together with sweatshirts and tricots to achieve a perfect layering. Other items that stand out are cargo trousers and the already viral parachute trousers, biker jackets, double-breasted jackets and biker jackets.
For everyday wear, the neutrality of basic shades such as black, ecru, light blue, beige and khaki will allow the focus to be placed on the silhouette of the garments. For evening wear, Stradivarius presents its special online party capsule inspired by the 2000s. Silver, black and sequins are seen in garments such as mini skirts, tops, dresses and flared trousers. For casual looks, the yoga collection features washed effect jumpsuits and set ups in blue and green.
